Mother- Sarah Lynne Phillips-Patil- Both Deceased.
Sibling: Twin- Padma Patil

Both died in a earthquake at the end of May, 1997 in India. Just a few months after the Patils had tried to take their daughters out of school during their sixth year, wary of the DE Activity taking place. The Patils had left England when the Ministry finally admitted to the return of Voldemort, and had reluctantly let their daughters go back to school their sixth year.

The Patils had their own business in Antiquities and Import/Export and were conducting business when the Earthquake struck, killing them and around two hundred other people. They had no warning or time to react properly, so they were unable to get out as quickly as a witch or wizard might have been.

She was best friends with Lavender Brown during her school years, became known as part of the giggling clique. Formerly a party girl, flirty, tempermental and outrageous at one point, she became sober like when her parents died and calmed down.

But her old side came flaring to the fore front when it was discovered her parents will was null and void by the company her parents ran. The Board of Patil Antiquities And Import/Exports basically took control, and cut out Parvati and her sister, leaving them with an eighth of their original inheritance. . Her temper came roaring back to life and apparently she hexed the family lawyer into a six month stay in St Mungos. After that she calmed down again.

Although she and her twin are identical, all you have to do is be in their presence for five minutes and end up telling them apart. Parvati is very bold, outspoken, impulsive, has a Drama Queen like temperament which fits with her aspirations to be an actress. But she is also loyal to those who she loves and will defend in them how she sees fit.

Present History: After being scared out of India by the people who stole their parents company, Parvati and her sister came to England. They worked for the Weasley twins, and then after a few months of dealing with "accidents" they realized that their advesaries had come back and in a nasty duel, their enemies were caught. And the girls have their company back.

Parvati is also dating Connor Sullivan, an American wizard who moved to England.
